Poor quality of care

Rated 2.0 out of 5
January 17, 2023

Having attended urgent care twice for an issue due yo the fact, that I knew getting an appointment would be impossible, I had in the end have to contact Skerne medical group to try to get an urgent appointment, due to the fact I am going into hospital next week for a knee replacement operation. ( cancelled twice) , and did not want it cancelled a third time . I explained this to the receptionist and she looked at my notes , and then said next appointment is in February which was as useful as a chocolate fire guard. It was explained to me that there were no appointments that day .

My daughter 21 weeks pregnant got an telephone appointment with in an hour when she phoned up for an appointment. So appointments were available but at the discretion of untrained staff .

I had a meds review last week by a Dr who was more intent in getting me off medication that how I felt , in fact scare tactics were used , using my kidneys as the reason, and they needed looking at . Never had that issue in my life and have had tests done so many times in last year ,

The Quality of care is disappointing
