Easier than I thought.
I thought I would have to wait a long time on the telephone when I called at 8am but it has a call-back facility. It called back after half an hour & I was able to book a GP appointment the same morning. I arrived quarter of an hour early and was seen ten minutes early [ie. only waited 5 minutes]! The only problem was that a separate appointment needed to be made for further tests to be carried out.
